I needed to draw up a floor plan to get permits for building in our basement. I tried a number of other apps and this was my favorite. I appreciated how smooth it was to create precise and to-scale walls. When lengthening or shortening, inside and outside wall dimensions were displayed by the inch. Then through the View menu at the top, you can enable of disable snapping and lock features. Another great feature is the ability to use the room inspector to setup labels for each room showing a comb

This app was so easy to learn and easy to maneuver. I wish it had more shortcuts, I found myself repeating so many tasks that couldn’t be duplicated (like wall textures/colors). I also wish there were slightly more options for the free version. BUT that is where the creativity comes in. I’ve made sooo many things improvising with my free options. Overall, I LOVE this app and it’s helped me gain so much inspiration and help into building my own home.

I love this app! I think it’s great! BUT, I mainly use it for references when drawing, so it would be AMAZING if I could adjust the height of the view. I noticed that I can’t see the room from the average eye-level-view, which makes it harder to capture the reference that I need. Please if it’s possible, make it so that I can lower the view, thank you.

I am very pleased with the user interface and ease of use of the software to create floor plans easily. Although lacking some features like grouping of objects, overall it gets the job done well. If you take the time add the elevations for 3D viewing, the #D view is great. Highly recommended vs the other floor plan apps for the Mac!

I love this app, it’s so great. Biggest wish is for a basement option to be added though, as a midwesterner where they are extremely common. More yard options would be nice, such as pools, pergolas, decking options, etc. Also, if there could be a “select more than one” option. For example, if you are choosing to do all exterior walls a style, you have the option to select many at a time. And maybe the option to do half wall designs (such as board and batton). To summarize, it’s great, but many higher quality things are locked for premium, and I can’t get a roof. Sorry but not paying the subscription! There’s a go back option you can tap to reverse your mistakes and to be honest, for teens, they could want something like a hidden room, or normally a basement, there’s no option for that as I can see, so maybe fix that please? Thank you, creators this app is overall an 8/10!

I’m redoing my room soon and wanted to plan it out. I decided to get this app because it had good reviews. Right away it seemed easy to use and I was really excited to start planning. I went to shelves and realized all of them were locked except for the first and worst one. I’m planning to have floor to ceiling shelves and the only option is a 2x2 cubicle shelf. I decided I could just imagine what the shelves would look like and could plan the rest of the room….nope. Almost everything is locked

This app is fantastic. I spent the whole night building stuff. It’s such an inspiring app. One deceitful thing is that it do note provide options to save your project in gallery as a photo. I tried to screenshot but it doesn’t look like I want it. I love the 3D view option, but again, it could have been great if the app could provide a 3D short video of the project once it is finished. a show in 3D of your project. When I subscribed for the pro version I was actually expecting that.

Doesn’t automatically count the total square footage. Does not print with grid. Doesn’t have duplicate rooms option so that you don’t have to keep drawing same size rooms. In my experience, the free version of this app offers the most options and projects. I do wish you could see the floor plans from the upper levels while you are on the lower levels. it would make adjustments much easier. The most disappointing part of the app is the roof tool. I find it very difficult to make a nice looking roof. I need to reach out to the company for help. I wish they had more FAQs available online and/or a thorough tutorial.

Nice app, love the detailed dimensions and additions in the ability to change an object’s width/height/length et cetera. However, as told in the title, a large problem has occurred. As usual, these game devs are begging for your cash. That’s right-the only FREE option is the *first* item in the genre/category. For instance, in “chairs” the only one available without a price is the first (and worst) option. You can’t even have a curtain nor a fireplace! They’re just cash cows. I recommend FloorPl

I am looking for an app using my Mac to rearrange furniture in individual rooms. I tried the "FloorDesign2" app and some others first. My primary complaint is the single-window design of this app ("4Plan"). I have a laptop screen, 49" OLED ultrawide, and a 27" screen in veritcal orientation. There's no option to change the measurment from meters to feet. I attempted to reach out for help but there's no clear instructions on how to do that. Deleting it. After looking for many free apps I found this one although very limited however, limited stuff is pretty good. Mind you more features are useable with subscription to purchase the app. I only wish i had more choices of furniture, fixtures etc in the library. There are quite a few objects missing, like stairs curling in a corner without landing in between. There is no waterheater - heating stove available. No freezing chest. No possibility to give a door a color, only the solid door. Doorshapes are pretty limited. Elements of doors should merge seamless, but they don't. No recliner available. Even basic table shapes are limited. 4Plan is okay, but could do better. Maybe a item catalog on line that one could import.
