Description
Performance Beef provides a farmer friendly software solution built by and for feedlot producers. Performance Beef integrates with smart scales to automate data entry in the feed delivery process, and animal health management offers tracking individual treatments on every animal. Consideration for group-based, pen-based, and individual costs allows accurate accounting and corrections for all aspects of animal management, while on-demand reports offer analytics, describing every pound of feed delivered and every dollar spent. The majority of Bluetooth scale systems already in use on beef operations are compatible. Trusted advisors such as nutritionists can be authorized to view information, allowing them to advise the producer in important performance and financial decisions. Being a cloud-based system allows you to access this information on any device from any where in the world. Real-time closeout reports, on farm analytics, and industry benchmarking capabilities offer additional insights and help eliminate bias when making decisions.

Fixed some display issues that were occurring in iOS 13 and higher. Enhanced on device logging to assist customer support and engineers in troubleshooting a user’s issues. Added better feedback to the Send Diagnostic Information button so users know if the data made it to the server. Fixed the pen calculations so they would only use data for the user’s current work date. Improved the data upload speed to the Performance Beef servers.
Adjusted how Point scale heads are collected and displayed. The serial number of the device is used now, to prevent Point scale head data collisions between similar display names. Serial number devices will have SN: in the settings screen and other devices with have ID:. Adjusted the granularity on timestamps to prevent data collisions that would stop some of the load/delivery information from making it to the Performance Beef servers. Fixed an issue where a drag and drop reorder of pens in fullbatch mode would not retain the manual settings if the user went to the scale views and came back to the edit screen.

Improved how pen and feed information are stored so they will not carry over from the previous work day. Fixed how targets are displayed in the fullbatch iPhone delivery view. Fixed the pen reorder in fullbatch mode in the edit screen. Updated the app to not allow a user to get to the load scale screen if there are no feed ingredients for a load. Updated the app to make sure all scale changes to pen and feed get pushed to the server, even if it is only a scale bounce (up and then back to original value, or down and back to original value).

Classic mode fixes. One fix is for editing fields with commas. The other fix is for loads that are carrying over from the previous day. Now the loads will finish uploading and then refresh the screen to the current new day values.

Reworked how the data is stored on the device to allow for better data synchronization. Added a Send Diagnostic Info button to aid in diagnosing problems when working with support. In the load and delivery scale views when a user gets close to the target amount the yellow background will now have black text for easier visibility.

App is great! We use everything the app has to offer from the delivery and the processing to making the feed bills. One thing I wish they would add is on the processing app is to be able to show the origin for the calf when he goes through the chute for processing.

This app has been pretty good to use, the whole Performance Beef system in its entirety has been good. There have been a few minor glitches in the system such as not reporting back to the computer, the scale not reading accurately from time to time, and communication with scales being interrupted.
However, it makes operations much more simple from creating rations, adding and editing loads, adding costs, adding and moving cattle, all the way down to billing. Everything is easy to use and when

After 30 minutes of trying I’ve given up trying to change the order of the drops. They seemingly just go to random places.
