The Split Screen Videos finally arrives on the iPhone !
With Split Screen Videos you can combine 2, 3 or 4 videos into one split screen video.
Just pick the videos in your camera roll then tap the play button, and the app creates the split screen videos for you; it couldn't be simpler!
Special Features:
- 6 split screen video templates to choose from to combine 2, 3 or 4 videos
- Adjust eventually each video in its frame/box
- Choose the video soundtrack(s) you want to hear in your split screen video, or use a music from your iPod library instead
- Add an eventual margin between the videos in the split screen videos

- Save your split screen videos in your camera roll, send them by email, or export them to other apps installed on your device

Sure you can add multiple videos for split screen viewing but there is absolutely NO editing capability within the app.
This means you can’t adjust the clips for synchronization at all.
Also no editing capability for basic video features like color, brightness, audio, etc.
All in all, very basic and disappointing.
$2.99 isn’t much to lose but I bought it with higher hopes than I should have had apparently.
Didn’t work at all for my needs.

App works exactly as advertised. If you need a very simple but very useful app to combine your videos without a ton of work, this is the one you want. Creator listens to suggestions and bug reports, if any, but she works great now on my iPhone 11 ... no problems here at all.

Now I can’t even change the video that’s in the project every time I try to switch a video out it doesn’t let me what a let down, and now it doesn’t even let me replay my video within the app I’m forced to save it to see my results.

Unless it’s on your grid, it’s useless! No office, no music apps, just what I’m guessing they get paid for promoting. All I wanted was a midi player and lyrics next to each other. If you tell me that’s possible I’ll change my rating but for now it’s a waste of time and money. Let alone support link does nothing.

Just tried this app for the first time. Easy to use and very intuitive. The video quality of the resulting split screen video was excellent!
I would like to see more split configurations added, such as 4 portrait videos side-by-side to make a landscape video.
And as others have commented, it would be nice to be able to zoom in on individual videos or trim. But I can do that with the Splice video editor so I am able to do everything I would like between the two apps.

The only ways you can split the video is in halves, thirds, or fourths. You can’t change the location or size of the video or anything like that. If that’s all you need, it’s great but I would like to see a feature to move different videos around and shrink or grow them.

You can’t even trim videos in the app. It would be nice to be able to sync videos up in the app too, which would probably be easy to do if there was a trim feature.
